Pride Charlotte, a project of the LGBT Community Center of Charlotte, presents the Queen City’s annual LGBT Pride festival and other events throughout the year. The annual festival is the Center’s largest fundraiser each year.
Mission
Empowering all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and allied peoples to stand as unique individuals and together as a community, with the purpose of uniting as a creative, social, economic and influential force.
Goals
- Celebrate LGBT families from the Charlotte area.
- Provide LGBT individuals with a place to celebrate without harassment.
- Advance LGBT rights and visibility in the Charlotte community.
- Empower individuals to be themselves in a relaxed and accepting environment.
